At Camarillo Independent we are always looking out for the safety of our community and the children in it. As Halloween is quickly approaching, we want to remind Camarillo, CA drivers of some helpful tips that will have you navigating through the sea of trick-or-treaters this season safely.

Avoid Distractions – Put aside any distractions that take your eyes off the road.

Turn Your Lights On – Be sure to always leave your headlights on.

Use Caution – Drive cautiously and slower than recommended as you may need to make some immediate stops. 

Watch for Pedestrians – Always be on the lookout for pedestrians and yield to them.

Don't Drink & Drive – Drive sober and alert law enforcement of any drivers who may be under the influence.
